Go Texan Day

Nursery school GoTexan Day style. There were a couple of fabulous red boots too, but I was doing well to get three of the pre-K girls to stand still for the picture. Tigger is in the pink and white. Terremoto in the blue birds.

Yesterday was Go Texan Day, when as the NYT accurately put it, Houstonians dress like the rest of the world assumes they dress. (HT @brittanieshae for the link) We don’t just dress like everyone assumes. We, well…I have video. I took this footage during last year’s trail ride. This is Memorial Drive, which is to Houston what maybe the Kings Road is to London. A direct analogy is difficult; it is one of Houston’s major thoroughfares. Ignore the Snow Patrol soundtrack. That’s just what was on in the car at the time.

Just for fun, the HEB Texas rumors commercial with Jack Ingram.
